My theory is people are entitled to their opinions as you are, not sure if someone talking either way about it will alter my opinion until I test it on my dirt or someone I know near me I trust does.

Im not going to hold it against them that Eric talks about it. Especially if he isn’t associated with them.

I think a lot of companies miss the mark on advertising 100% agree with you.

Have you tested it?

I’m probably going to give it a go, how do you think I should evaluate it?

Absolutely! Give it a try. Maybe you do some tests and find out that on your farm that it works awesome

You're asking me how I would evaluate it?

I would do a test how they recommend.

And then me personally because I enjoy testing stuff and seeing how things work. I would do a 0%, a 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% recommended phosphorus rate and then do one area treated and untreated for each percentage.

So this pass down is 100% recommended untreated. The next pass up would be 100% recommended treated. And then 80, 60, 40..

I would then take for sure one soil test of the root zone at tassel but it would also be better to take one early at like V5. And then for sure a plant sap test.with each soil test
The soil test and the plant test is going to tell us a whole lot more of the story than just a simple yield test. And then insert the costs and come up with a dollar value for each trial.

You should set this up and do it next year and then either on your own Facebook page or here on AG talk. Let's start a pool. I will say bar any catastrophic severe drought type weather event next year that even in your untreated zero applied and 20%. Applied of recommended rate at tassel or early ear fill your phosphorus will be okay in the plant test.
