Central Kansas | Well…to get started it would be prudent to get your hearing tested. Not at a State Fair booth selling hearing aids or one of the ubiquitous solicitations by mail by national chains…..but by an audiologist or even Costco or Sam’s club. You can then determine if you need a sensory device, an ear cleaning, or a re-test in a year. I have worn hearing aids for 30+ years…from nothing more than a Johhny Rae amplifier to the current Bluetooth devices with AI functions and accelerometers. With my experience…don’t go cheap with this journey, you need to be evaluated and dispensed a device that will actually help you, thus, you wear it. No hearing aid works very well in the desk drawer.
Good luck here…if you actually witnessing some impairment, a proper device will be a game changer. | |
