Subject: RE: Dewalt 18v batteries

Central IL
I have a couple tools left that are 18v. I bought an adapter for each one, waitly I think was the name from amazon. They were 1/3 the price of dewalts and do not drain the batteries. There is no protection in them so I did burn up the contacts in the grinder using it too hard. Grease gun i change the battery when I change a tube of grease but they last a long time in a grease gun. Go with 20v tool as most are upgrades with more power and replace your tools as needed. The 71/4 saw with the big 6 or 8 amp battery is a real nice unit similar to a plug in saw.
