| Not a mini, But I have driven 28,000 pound machines 6 -8 miles several times.
I called the rental place and they told me it was fine. I never noticed any thing that was warm. Some with rubber tracks and some with steel.
The manual on my Hyundai says not to track it for long distances. I have no idea what they consider along distance.
1/2 mile I would probably drive it. I suppose if the pickup was sitting there already hooked up, I might load it and not tie it down. Especially if I was going to have to come back for the pickup.
My rig that I haul with the detatch would definitely get driven. | |
