We have free speech here in US. Kimmel was offered & used free speech. He was not jailed/imprisoned for his work, whether speaking or written. So, he has free speech. But, he paid for his right.

Now, practicing free speech requires thought and diligence. If you don't think so, stand in a biker bar parking lot and accuse bikers of being low-lifes that ride ugly motorcycles and have gawdy tattoos. Before you make that free speech however, make sure you have all your business in order at home. Make sure your will is up to date and your checking accounts include you and your wife's name. Same with auto titles and home ownership.

Chances are you won't be coming home from your practice of not thinking out your free speech situation.
