I miss when my fellow republicans respected free speech. Oh well the show sucked anyway.
Nexstar broadcasting stated they would no longer show his show after the comments he made and complaints received.
They own a lot of stations. Like half of the ABC station or more. They have CBS and a couple NBC stations as well.
You're free to whatever you want but remember the first ammendment also covers freedom of the press to present or ignore what they like. The equal/fair time doctrine law has been gone for years.
Lose most of your stations showing an unprofitable show that receives many complaints and your competitors are cutting theirs, why keep yours on?
You're still free to say most things without fear of the government coming after you, but from what I've read nothing guarantees your employment. |
