Seriously consider an IR camera instead. Yes near $200 but extremely more versatile vs a handheld temp gun.
I bought a Topdon one that fits the charge port of my phone. Super handy.
Do this. I bought an expensive fluke a few months before the ir cameras prices fell off a cliff and somewhat regretted it since.
I have nothing to complain about with my 10 year old $300 fluke, aside from a month later another $50 would have bought a really nice flir camera, which would have been infinitely more helpful when playing the "what smells hot" game. |
