Hello all,
I've been asking a few shop questions over the last couple weeks and have appreciated the insight and suggestions. I have talked with some local builders and the first quotes came back today.

Looking at a 80X80 steel building fairly plain Jane. All one color, no eves, no aprons, no electric included, 18 side wall.
Upgrades are 3 shop doors roughly 25' each, decent insulation, not finished walls inside but of course smooth vinyl from the insulation layer, concrete floor.

Final quote came out right around $780K which was roughly $120 a sq ft.

Seems like a big number but what isn't these days.....

Any other big building companies in the CO, WY, NE, KS area people want to recommend or does that number seem on par?
Thanks

Man that seems high, I wonder how much more steel building is than same sized wood? I thought mine was bad back in 2022-23. Lester pole building, 64x80x20’ high with a 72x18x12’ tall lean, fully insulated and finished, all electrical, electric boilers in floor heat, three overhead doors, 2’ overhangs all around, finished office/kitchen/bathroom. Came to about $75/sq ft when all said and done, including the fill, rocks and gravel.
