 East of Broken Bow | It helps immensely if you re-locate the breather, as they generally get plugged. Then when you leave the tractor outside in the rain, it cools the transmission housing, creating a vacuum, and literally will suck water around the bolts that hold the platform/deck on. If you notice, IH made nice little reservoirs around the bolt heads for water to collect so it can suck in as much as possible. Now, water will make its way around those bolts regardless, but with a plugged breather, it gets in there much faster. | |
