North central TX | Looks like the beans and cotton are going to make decent crops.
My garden is pretty poor this year. The repeated spring hail really took a toll. I moved my sweet corn this year and expanded the footprint. It all got washed and then hailed out so that we got almost nothing this summer. But I'm trying a double crop this year, and so far my fall corn is looking really good. Time will tell I suppose.
Our tomatoes luckily hadn't been put in the ground yet during our worst set of storms in the weeks around Easter. But they still took some small hail and a ton of rain that set them back. We've made about 35# of tomatoes into spaghetti sauce so far. With some cooler weather they've really taken off now though. Hopefully we dont get a super early frost.
Need to put my fall cabbage in and plant a bunch more beets and beans to try for a fall crop too.
