| having repetitive problem with water in hydraulic oil I've changed 3 times in the last 40 hrs. It's an auger tractor for remote bin sites so it doesn't get much use. Is kept in heated shop all winter.
Lost all hydraulics. Dropped oil and found collapsed filter and plugged intake screen. My question is how do I get the cream out of the tranny case. It's white and thick, which is what plugged things up.
If I put in 10 gallons of diesel and run it for a little while will it hurt things. I did dump a gallon in and let it run thru with plug out but it didn't seem to break down the stuff much. Poured a little gas in the catch pan and that worked, but not brave enough to put it in tranny for fear of not getting it all out. IDEAS? please | |
