Middle Tennessee | This is my third year owning a combine (JD 9500). I use the manual to guide my process for greasing the combine but for some reason the walker bearings were not included in the instructions and I have not greased them until today. Totally my fault and I didn't realize my mistake until I read online recently that it is important to grease the walker bearings daily. I put about 10 shots of grease in each of the grease zeros today but didn't see any grease come out of the walker bearings. I am wondering if I should be concerned about the machine from lack of greasing the past two years. I will definitely grease them daily going forward!
