Deworming pills for cats are pretty cheap at pet stores. We did use pen G under the hide on sick cats. Kill or cure at that point. Never got too attached to barn cats. They would turn to sail cats if sleeping under cows. Sail them on the manure pile since they were pretty flat after that.
