Note, I'm not connected with that ebay seller in any way, just using it as an example of size compared to a keyboard and mouse.

Those are about 8 inches square and 2 inches thick. They do have a fan inside for the processor. Two memory slots, one NVME hard drive slot. Two or three video outputs. I love this form factor and it's what I've been buying for the last two years for a business doing general office stuff.

If you were doing processor intensive stuff like video editing, CAD, etc, then you'd want a full on desktop with a fast processor. These little ones are limited in heat dissipation, and thus don't have the maximum processor speeds. For web browser, youtube, email, excel, etc they are perfectly fine.
