I admittedly watched the show. As I've told some of my other farming friends: it's like a train wreck, it's hard not to watch once you start. I know I shouldn't support them.
I figured they were actually rich and the whole broke farmer thing was just dramatized for tv. Apparently I was wrong.
There are no shortage of people in ag that appear rich but are doing it with rented money. They aren't scum of the earth people for doing that, just a very different business philosophy. |
