Subject: Frost- how much will yield be affected?


NCSD		Had a frost here few weeks ago. Nipped the top leaves of corn plant in low places.
Didn’t freeze the stalk or ear.
Late milk/ early dough stage.

Will this affect how the corn finishes out the kernels?
Or is it strictly cosmetic??

Trying to decide what/ where to chop this week.
