West-Central IL | We often hit them with excellerator within the first week after the combine.
Last year with the dry August I was not happy with the job, could not get it in the ground as deep as I wanted it. This year is worse for dry conditions so we'll be waiting , hopefully for a rain.
It still does a job on the stalks, but we like it pretty deep and aggressive (for a Vt tool) for the fall pass. Depending on what you are looking for and how dry you've been it might be just right. | |
