The fertility was there. After planting we had 15” rain over the next few weeks. Then before tassel the rain completely shut off and we went the next 65 days with only a half inch. When I pulled tissue test the corn was already showing moisture stress. It’s going to be impossible to get good looking tissue tests under those conditions.


I am sorry that I am ruffling your feathers, but regardless of whether the nutrients were there or not, they weren't getting into the plant. Not going to argue with you about it since there appears to be another motive involved, but you never had a chance with those levels, and it was there long before R2 I bet. I pull everyweek, in multiple fields and had very similar weather, and you don't get those levels from weather alone. The plants were starving.

Hope the rest of fields do better!
