Hmm. Surprisingly I am in partial agreement with you. I agree on what you said about voting for Trump over Harris. To be honest I was shocked that they choose to run her because if they were that desperate to keep Trump out a much more centred and intelligent choice of candidate would have likely tipped the scales in favour of the Dems. I still don’t know why they did choose her. Maybe they were so contained in their own little echo chamber of DEI, environmental self righteousness, gender fluidity, race baiting mentality that they failed to realize that it was only their own funding of that propaganda that made those issues appear to be the public’s main concerns. So as I said I was shocked they ran her but I was also extremely happy because she was so bad.

I do not agree with your assessment of the tariffs though. I am not saying that tariffs are definitely the best solution but much like the Harris choice choosing more of the same isn’t the solution either. China has been controlling the world markets for some time now. The situation is kind of like the old frog in a pot story. The familiarity of the pot is comforting but the end result is known. Perhaps it is better to take a chance and jump out of the pot into the unknown. It might end up better, it might end up the same. I really don’t think continuing on the path it had been on was going to end well in the long run either and kicking the can down the road was just going further down that hole of no return.

I really don’t see anyone, despite some making the claim, of any form of worshiping or cult like behaviour towards Trump. What seems to be the main attitude is basically what I described above. People just wanted off of the path that we have been going down. I have heard a lot of concerns from both sides about the hardships being faced. Most seem to see it similar to the frog choosing to jump out of the pot into the unknown instead of being slowly boiled. For what it’s worth the left is claiming an imminent disaster but they refuse to acknowledge that the previous path was also an imminent disaster.

I think I agree with your statement about the middle class because I think what you mean is America should be run based mostly on the concerns of the middle class. If that is what you mean I agree with that sentiment.
