The problem is that soybeans are the side show, they know it will put political pressure on the admin to cave. Not selling them beans is unlikely to hurt them in a meaningful way. The elephant in the room is all the manufactured goods that we buy from them, that’s our bargaining chip and already somewhat in the process of moving.
