a guy hears a lot of things from a lot of experts these days, but i think it was joe vaclavik that said US beans are cheapest. if china is such a highly efficient producer and their tariff forces them to go with the higher priced brazilian beans, that wouldn`t make sense from a land grant university economic degree point of view .. "tariffs bad!".

the funny thing china isn`t even propping up chinese farmers, china is propping up the brazilian farmers. at least the tariffs that the US places on manufactured goods has the goal of bringing back factories to the US.
