We have the trimble EZ guide and 250 systems and were told for the last decade by multiple dealers and companies that an open center steering valve does not exist that we would have to convert the entire tractor(70s and 80s Versatiles) to closed center.

Now hearing that open center valves exist and it is, probably, also possible to build your own if needed, its somewhat exciting to know we don't have to move the big EZ steer motors around all the time.

976 Versatile with Raven open centre steering valve. Tractor was traded off quite some time ago. Tractor held the line well, but line acquisition would not have been considered great. We were happy with the system at the time.
