Latimer Iowa | The sludge will be hard to clean out without good, expensive equipment. Like a agitation boat. the key is to get the sludge suspended before taking the liquid out. I would hire the lagoon cleaned completely out and the just keep doing what has been working for you in the past, however many years and not try and gear up.
If you have multiple lagoons and labor to agitate then maybe buy your own but if your big tractor is 200 hp, based on your proposed tank size, you don't have enough tractor power to mix the manure and keep it suspended while you pump out with a little tank.
nutrient analysis will vary on how well you get it mixed. | |
