only the 2nd day trying to use Intellislope with Johnson Tile Plow.
Trying to lay a main going up a 0.4% slope.
settings at min grade 0.1% , min depth 36", max dept 60", target depth 48"
I am starting in a valley in a 38" starter hole,
I hoped the plow would run at 0.1% until it got to the target depth of 48" as I plowed up the slope.
but it does not, it just stays at about 38" until alomost to the top of the hill.
Am I wrong in my expectation?
The system will do exactly what you said. If your figures are all correct then it's no problem. If your starting at 38" and minimum of .1 with a .4 slope you'd have to go approximately 350' to gain a foot of depth. The system will show you on screen your current grade and depth. Show a picture of the survey. If the run it only 500ft long and you have a increase in grade at the last 100' to achieve an average of .4 then it may not be possible to do what you want to do. Need to see the survey or a picture of the screen when you load the survey pass on the auto tile page. |
