if you have a pull up bar or something similar, try hanging on it. Just dead hang, no movement. It helps stretch me out.


I had back problems from age 42 for about 8 years. Chiropractor didn't help. Dr didn't help. I knew it was from bouncing around in cabs compressing my spine, and occasionally jumping off equipment, I quit doing that of course.

I discovered if I held my body off the ground with my arms, AND let my back relax, and it takes practice to do that, the tension, pinching, or compression would release all at once and I felt great.

Now my standard ritual before going to sleep is to stretch out in the bed and pull on my spine by dragging my self toward the pillow with my arms only. That has kept me from having any back issues for nearly 20 years. I am even dumb enough to occasionally jump off equipment with no issues. Once you figure out what works for you, keep doing it.
