| I have the FMX and both the master switch and 12 switch in the tractor with CAN and power cable to the rear of the tractor. That is all used with the planter for rate and section control.
The tank has a flow meter with wires to the hitch but currently has what I think is a JD plug (37 pin AMP) on it. The plug for the 660 is different than what a 450 normally uses. Our sprayer had a 450 on it and I believe has a 16 pin AMP plug while our other manure tank has a 660 to control it and it has a plug the size of a 37 pin AMP but it has a pair of large flat spades in it which I believe are just +/- power pins possibly to supply power to the fast valve on the hyd drive pump.
The new to us tank has a hyd driven pump but I'm not really looking to control its speed because we always unload as fast as possible anyway and just drive as fast as we can while maintaining the desired rate. I don't think there would be any reason to need or use a section control module unless it came along (rate and section in the same module) for the right price.
If the module got mounted on the tank with the flow meter wired directly to it, what would I need other than the module and CAN wire to get to the tractor? I should probably dig through my boxes of stuff, I think I may have a short (either 5' or 10') piece of CAN cable.
