Bite how?

Walked up and clamped down?

Was playing and bit?

Was being petted and bit?

Bit and shook her head?

Bit and just stood there?

The sudden change in what is essentially still a puppy is off. Does she have an injury? Perhaps a hormone imbalance? Is she fixed? Have you tried having those who have been bit or may be bit giving her food?

Pulling a "Kristi Noem" isn't the only option here, contrary to popular belief. Dogs are like people, they do things for a reason.

A shock collar will disappoint you. Grandparents tried that on one of their dogs and all it made them to is cower, usually right in front of you. Run up to you and fall down right on your feet so then you trip on it. You can't shock them after they do something you have to do it while they are doing that and good luck with that, as that never happens.

Our lab never bit anyone on purpose, neither did any of my grandparents, the only time was when they got carried away playing and you told them to settle down sternly and they would instantly change and feel bad, but would be very careful the rest of the day playing.

Both fixed and this just started we were away from the 10th of july till the 26th. The granddaughter's and my son looked after them here on the farm and we here all day. Both dogs are wareing gps collars and the girls would take them for a walk every morning and let them run and they said they sure would run. On the 2cd of august we had a BBQ with some friends so they were kept in the enclosure (20 feet by 20 feet where they spend every night with dog house) while we were outside because they want to play. In hindsight I would have left them out that was the first time she bit when one person was leaving. So as I am writing this maybe she thinks anyone who comes in the yard thinks she is the reason to be locked up. But to add we live next to a busy road and she would chase cars if she didn't have the gps collar on. Her sister the black dog could careless about a car.
