We used some basic formulas to determine the amount of vent to install for attic ventilation.
We cut long slots in solid plywood eaves, round and square vents to add ventilation.
You need cooler air to move from eaves vents up into roof and vent the heated air out through gable vents.
Here is a formula to get an idea of the S.I. needed.
The round or square vents can be used for a clean look in painted plywood overhangs.
