Wisconsin | Tough call. Can you easily remove those from the outside and repair? or would you be drilling 1 1/2 or 2" holes and adding screens directly to the holes?
Soffit vents are important, but I might skip it in this case, and use 1/2" or 1" foil faced foam coming up maybe 24 or 32" and stuck right to the bottom of the roof decking, then blow in cellulose and then pull the foam down and inch or so at the top, there will be enough circulation if you have ridge vent and gable vents. At least there would be here, but I don't know what your air conditioning season and conditions are. I know they do things differently in the gulf coast and Hawaii, not sure about your area. | |
