Ok, lets try some logic...
You say you pay your taxes because "give to Caesar what is Caesar's" right? Doesn't sound like theft to me. Therefore if Caesar decries payments it is not theft.
Is it theft if your church gives money you voluntarily tithed into to an individual living a life you don't condone?
Is it theft if you us your tithe as a tax deduction to pay less to Caesar?
