The advice to see a dermatologist is spot on. The advice to throw away the ball cap and get a wider brim hat is spot on. The advice to use huge amounts of sunscreen is spot on. The advice to wear long sleeve UV resistant shirts is spot on.
My family has fought skin cancer as long as I can remember and I am no different. I go to a dermatologist every three months. I've had several precancerous spots frozen and have had three cancers removed. I was fortunate as all were the squamous cell variety so they don't spread. I've had several Levulan treatments. At nearly 76 I really wish I would have started a bit sooner and been more aggressive in proactive actions.
