Holly Hill, SC | I have a new 2025 model JD 408R with the GS5 monitor. A few items on the layout manager and auto field locator do not work and wondering if anyone else is having the same problems.
1. The auto field location does not work about half the time on the Gen 5 monitor. If the machine boots up and it works, it will work for the rest of the start cycle (perfectly). If it does not work, it will not work the rest of the day and a reboot does not fix it. It may work the next day, but there is no pattern. I would say maybe 1 out of ten days it does not work. Full GPS signal at startup. All my fields have boundaries and all software is up to date. The photo shows an example of when it does not work. The three field listed are not near my current location nor are they adjacent to each other.
2. "Tread adjust" nor "work setup" do not show up on the main page of the Gen 5 monitor. It is represented on the layout manager but will not show on the run screen. I have updated the software and tried installing tread adjust on an addition page, no luck. If you look at both photos you can see the items on the Edit Run Page but they do not show up of the actual run page.
