Our church started a big pumpkin contest a few years ago. We’ve won it every year, and last year’s was 914 lbs. Pumpkins pretty much like the same food as corn. My wife and main employee do most of the work. Sugar is a staple to the feeding program too. Early August cut off the secondary blossoms so it throws everything to the main pumpkin.
