North Central Iowa | Another option, which should be getting cheaper, is an ag leader integra with an ontrac 2+ or 3. I’ve never ran either, went from the older Trimble stuff to the ag leader incommand. But the integra is quite powerful and is now 3rd generation back.
I have found the ag leader stuff is harder to sort out on your own as it’s so modular and ag leader doesn’t have comprehensive/unified documentation. Each piece has its own documentation and takes a bit to figure out how it all goes together if trying to piece used together. Depends on technically savvy you are or have a dealer willing to help out on the used side.
For instance, one upside is that the integra has great yield monitoring capability. Way better than Trimble has (unless new stuff is a lot better). | |
