| He was a great guy with a lot of common sense , i remember him being interviewed by the CBC and the person asked him what it was like to be Indigenous, he said i have no idea , I am a Indian and very proud of my heritage. we have always been Indians, not sure why the white man now wants to calls us Indigenous, then the interviewer ask about sports teams that use slang indigenous names for their teams, again he pushed back on that and said I can not speak for all individuals with Indian heritage, but i do know most our proud of their Heritage and its a honor for our people to be recognize that way. I had the upmost respect for him after that,, and typical CBC ! | |
