| KB, I have no desire to be your enemy. You could be right about me getting humbled, it wouldn’t be the first time. I think you think I’m arrogant because I am completely convinced of what I have been saying. To the point it has cost me many friends and quite a lot of money that I could have used. I must say though that He has never failed to provide what we need in spite of that. I am happy to discuss why I believe what I do and I’m willing to listen to why you think I’m wrong, but I’m not interested in being told I’m wrong without explaining why. That doesn’t mean much to me. I completely understand needing to speak up if someone is misusing the Bible. I’d like to know why you think I’m saying false things about the Bible.
I assume you agree that the Bible very clearly says that stealing is wrong. Even someone who steals to eat. Prov 6:30,31. Our disagreement then, is over whether or not taking government handouts is stealing. I say it is because it is using the government to take something you didn’t earn from someone who did. It is the basis for all socialist/communist forms of government. I firmly believe such government is directly against Biblical principles. Even if the majority of people vote for it and make it “legal”. I also think that “everyone else is doing it” is not an argument that God agrees with. What about that would you say is unbiblical?
