Not the answer to the question you asked, but we got a bacon cooker for the microwave a while back that has a cover that contains everything spattering off the bacon so it doesn't get the microwave dirty. Granted, we only do bacon occasionally, but so far it seems to have kept the bacon from getting anything else dirty.
