IA | My dad is a pretty generous gift giver, whenever birthdays or holidays come around. He usually is good at buying me tools i wouldnt buy for my self, and that sort of thing. Every once in awhile he comes up with something pretty original, and this year my birthday was no exception. I got an auction flyer/advertisement from a local AC dealer liquidation sale after the death of the owner, from 1978. It was preserved very nicely and very colorful and had it framed to match. Very interesting reading through the inventory they had on hand. Just very neat to look at history from the past. The tie in to this is my 185 Allis Chalmers came from this dealer brand new in 1974, 4 years prior to closing . Grandpa bought it new, then dad had it, now I have it along with the canceled checks from the purchase and the sales invoice for it. Anyway I just thought some guys on here would like to see it. Thanks to my Dad.
