They answered and said, Caesar's. 25And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
so when the Pharisees tried to trip Jesus up on paying taxes and call him the left`s favorite word "hypocrite!", Jesus said give Caesar his money it`s his image on it (pay tax to him). well with farm subsidies, our Caesar (washington dc) gives us pieces of paper with images of dead presidents on it, for over producing grain. it`s Caesar`s money to give us, God has washed his hands of this sinful world. | |
