West Central IL | Just have a question about replacing garage door torsion springs. Ours measures 0,19" but was wondering about going with a heavier 0.20" spring instead. Can not think of a reason not to but maybe I am missing something. Plus for some odd reason our left spring is 18" long while the right spring is around 24" long. New ones come in a pair as same length or at least that is the way it looks to me. Is their a reason for our springs being different lenghts? Guessing of just buying the 24" long ones?
