Finger Lakes | I'm looking to buy my first gps setup with a limited budget. It will go into a JD4440. Mostly for broadcasting fertilizer for now. I spray with a different tractor, but might considering pulling the sprayer with the 4440 if the gps works adequately. I'm thinking a Trimble 500 with EZ Steer. Is this a good intro to gps? I've been looking online for a used setup. I'm leary of agtalk classifieds & ebay. Some users in the classifieds have only been registered a few months and 0 posts. Guessing that's a scammer. Where should I look? Has anyone bought from someone they could recommend? Buying used, how can I tell if the equipment actually functions as it should? Any other systems I should consider? What would a good price be? I have no idea of what a new system would cost. A lot of questions, be appreciative of any help. Thanks | |
