Taking govt money is not stealing. It's legal.
1. What in heavens name makes you think eliminating subsidies will drop inputs? Those companies will just do that out of the goodness of their hearts? I think not.
Just because something is legal doesn’t make it right. Technically abortion isn’t murder either because it’s “legal” but that doesn’t change what it is.
As for input prices, you have to know better than that. It’s pretty generally understood that when commodity prices rise inputs, from seed to fertilizer to land prices/rent, all go up with them. Everything costs what the market will bear. This is not wrong, it’s how free market is supposed to work. However when you have billions in socialism getting added it artificially raises the prices of everything.
What exactly do you think is wrong with appreciating that someone is willing to discuss something they disagree on without getting angry? It’s a rare thing these days. It is my job to tell people the truth. God is the one who will judge all of us. |
