Well, you'll already be donating to everything you & I like & disklike in America & beyond. 

24% of your $1B will be taken by the US Govt immediately. You'll get the balance , maybe...read further.

Then, if you're not already, you'll find yourself boosted into the highest income bracket for your annual federal income tax without a lot of write-offs. You'll be there for a while until the money is gone.

Then, if you win the $1B ticket in one of the 45 states that charges state income tax on the winnings, you'll pay that immediately also. Anywhere from 2%-10%.

So, there is your give-away money. It's already spent for you. Might not want to project yourself into the philanthropist category yet unless you are assured of winning it annually.

Think about this...you're excited about winning $1.1B & what to do with all the extra. Jeff Bezos (Amazon) makes about $9-10B EACH yr. Elon Musk makes about $29B EACH yr. 
So, don't plan on rubbing shoulders with those folks on some super-yacht in the Mediterranean. They might consider you just a deck hand.
