With a headline like "What Trump can learn from The Boss", I'm not sure how the OP can conclude that the article is non-political. Oh well, most things are political anymore. As to the premise that things were much better long ago, I don't subscribe to that. While I have many pleasant memories of things in my childhood or young adult years, I really have no desire to go back to those days. People back in the 60's who were 70 years old were almost certainly complaining about how the world is moving too fast and things cost too much compared to years past. I had a great childhood but being born in 1956 and growing up in the 60's and 70's I know for a fact that life was not some blissful utopia for adults like my parents. We didn't want for much but they faced many of the same struggles we do. I am not one for looking back and wishing for a "Simpler Time". Things weren't really all that simple back then.
