S.C. Wisconsin | As I look back at farming career I have seen a lot of changes. I was guilty of complaining about the changes, now I reflect back it really doesn't pay to resist changes and if a person just adapts to change the results seemed to be much better. A while ago there was thread that accused me and other retired people of moderating their views towards the left of in my case it ended up to be more moderate. They have to remember as you age you look back at at some of your positions of what ended up being right. A lot of my older beliefs were flawed and I will admit it they were wrong in the end. But when I get together with my friends we talk about the good old days and lot of them ended up being not the good old days but we didn't know any better. I will just say I am enjoying my retirement. | |
