SW WI | I’m as guilty as anyone, at times longing for the good old days. Especially when I plant or harvest at my home. I think back to when my wife and I started and this is all we had. Now it’s hurry up, get it done so we can move on to other fields, some owned, some rented.
What gives me hope is a goal of downsizing in the future and my wife and I working together, like we started, hopefully not much more acreage than our original farm.
That would sound like a great “retirement “ to me. | |
