I don’t take them at all. I’m eligible but choose not to. It’s not easy but I’m completely convinced it is the right thing to do. As far as giving it away, I’m quite certain that God doesn’t want stolen money. Look at it this way, if someone robbed a bank and on the way out the door they tossed you, an innocent bystander, a stack of $100 bills, would it be ok to keep it as long as you gave most of it to charity?
