N.E. MT | We did 280 this year, will do 500+ next year. 150hd on a quarter and feed silage everyday. If I had more grassy quarters by the yard I’d put 150 pair on all of them, easier than farming in Iowa. Looking at a place with 16 quarters of crp, be a pretty easy way to run 2,400 head. Will be my 11 year olds project, I should’ve known better than rebreeding a bunch of cows and aiing every heifer. | |
