It says nothing about the amount of widgets produced or factories. I can go buy a tractor tomorrow as a business investment. It says nothing about the amount of future production.
Yes a business can change investment like that in a quarter. Once again it's an investment which is usually a long term play. And if businesses feel that the timing is right they will invest.
"Oh, why would the economy be moving up when you have declared our economy over/ruined/ vanquished/shot?" I hope you just trying to stir the pot because if you aren't then yes the stupid moniker suits you well. Who do you think has been saying this constantly how poor the economy was?
