The TSMC deal is, literally, a Biden deal. Eli Lilly, committed 23 Billion from 2020-2024, under what's his face. GE aerospace is literally just doing what it was doing. They're a defense contractor, of course they're going to invest in U.S. jobs. Apple is great, no way that plant in Houston is open in 2026. Hyundai and Toyota, once again, are doing more of what they've been doing. They're out of labor pool in their home countries, so they've been moving production to the U.S. for decades. Nvidia was already bringing production back to the U.S. I mean, yeah, it's great, but most, if not all of it was either already happening or going to happen anyway. This is just "good press" for these companies. |
